I have found that getting your cows too fat causes many problems, prolapse being one of them.
I have had several cows over the years prolapse. If she is only five years old them I would just watch her close and see how she does.
I have had two younger cows prolapse while calving. Vet came and put in a draw string to keep everything closed. I just worked the string every few days to keep it from growing into the tissue. They healed up and went on to be good Mothers.
I would work on keeping the cows a little lighter in weight.
