Does this tractor have a diverter valve in the hydraulic line to the 3pt hitch? (small shiney spool with a knob on it, usially bolted below gas tank on RH side. Maybe the kids pushed the spool into the 3pt mode. Also check the quick couplers, to make sure they are coupled properly, and not just setting there looking connected. The kids could have gotten one apart and couldn't get it back together. There is a cold weather hyd pump disconnect, but you said that you could hear the pump labor. Loren, the Acg.
