My brother picked up a Kasco pestiside helmet and motor at an auction. A farmer had it, still new in the box. Well yesterday I was using it while move some moldy wood mulch around. I should have been more careful. After I finished, I put it behind the seat of backhoe. While backing up, the helmet jumped off the tractor and the back wheel crushed it. I'm kicking myself. Can't believe what they want for a new one.
I can get a Jeff Gorden racing helmit for around $200. The Kasco helmet was just a fiber glass shell, no actual protection just air tight.
My 12v pump and filters are good, I just need a helmet. Does anyone have a cheaper helmet? Thanks George
