Ok guys today was first day I had to tinker on tractor . Checked oil and it was good. New battery and terminals in it and cleaned points inside dist cap and I replaced radiator hoses and clamps and filled back up water. Pulled off breather hose and a squirt of starter fluid and she busted right off , sounds good. So then I removed tank and cleaned it and the petcock and put back on. Now to the problem. Man that had tractor died by heart attack. There was an alternator in the seat of tractor when I bought it. I bolted it back on and belt is tracking correctly . Problem is there is no wires that I see he had running to it . And if I'm not mistaking this looks like old chevy alternator ? Below is pics of it and of the dash panel of tractor . Tractor has oil pressure and voltmeter, an on and off toggle switch and push button start. Any ideas on wiring this thing up ?
