As a KUBOTA dealer for 28 years , let me say I have tried rebuilding in house and tried sending them out to other shops. MOST of the time by the time you put the new parts needed and labor you are 60 to 70 percent of cost of new pump. Then we found most times rebuilds came back sooner or latter and most times sooner. Just got to where you have to really beg me to rebuild your pump. If you plan on keeping the unit replacement is the only way to go now if you just want to patch it up to get it thru a sale might reseal the pump.
