The only way I can handle kansas heat and humidity is to get out in it. Usually biking for a few hours in he afternoon will acclimatize me. But I can't stay out in it all day like I used to.
One of the things I used to ignore was fluid intake and replacing electrolytes..Staying hydrated.
Remember those days when mom would sew gunnysacks around clay jugs. Those would sit in a pail of cold well water while I pumped the handle and fill them with a funnel stuck in the mouth. That carried a worker through the afternoon.
I would be real careful about getting out in the worst of it if on meds...
