I hardly ever wear my wedding ring. Luckily, this is not a problem for my wife as she also believes that the ring is not what makes you married.
If it were a problem with the wife, then I would likely have a picture of a ring tattooed on my finger. While I am not a fan of tatooe's at all this would work from a functional finger safety perspective, plus it is one less thing I have to worry about losing. I do well to keep track of my keys, wallet, cell phone as it is. I absolutely do not need something else to keep track of . Would be no issues either as a person gains or loses weight either with a ring tatoo....Course that tattoo would be hard (but not impossible) to remove if you expecting divorce....still better than losing a finger though.
