I've been married 20+ years. Since I work with my hands, including times when I'm around high voltage, I never wear my ring. Another big fear of mine is catching the ring on something and tearing off the ring finger. One example would be jumping down from a grain truck and getting the ring caught on the truck box. The ring sits in my night stand in the bedroom. If there is an instance where I have to dress up and go formal somewhere, I put the ring on but take it right back off when we get home. My wife is fine with me not wearing a ring because she'd rather have a live husband who doesn't wear a ring verses a husband who is missing his ring finger or a dead husband who wears a ring.

Over the fourth of July weekend, the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, was the site of the Old Gold National Antique Tractor Show.
