When a model change occurred back in those days it was not uncommon to buy a new tractor with a mix of parts from the old and new models. They sent some parts aside for service parts and continued to build tractors until all of the old parts were used up. My family had a John Deere riding lawnmower built in 2000 when the leaping Deere logo changed. Half of the logo's are the old style and others are the new style. I know this is minor but the car companies would never do this.
