We had Funk-o-Matics in some Lion Liftall forklifts in the '70's. But I think the 4 speed it used was a Warner T98. But typically they develop worn, sloppy bearings and thrust washers, and if applicable , the synchro blocking ring and cone gear . Incidentally , That is the same Funk Mfg in Coffeeville Kansas that that made the Funk V8 conversions for the old Ford Tractors. See Mike , Something to be proud of !!
