I'm surprised at some of the answers here. First of all you have the right to be an atrabilious old crank if you want to be. There is nothing wrong with that. You also have the right to be left alone on your own property as long as you don't do stuff that bothers your neighbors. A true individual does not give a rat's nose what other people think of him. Next thing you know they will be talking about how you dress funny and that you need a haircut and your house is the wrong color and you'll have to get a subscription to GQ magazine and we'll have to read a lot of posts here about men's fashion. Ignore them. Soon enough you'll be thought of as that neighbor who is ok but prefers to keep to himself.
