Last week I was working on my combine putting a pickup attachment on it. I needed to extend the drive shaft which was standard 1" keyed shaft. I had a piece of shaft laying around and knew I had a couple in my 5 gal. "stuff" bucket. As usual I dumped the bucket out to look for the coupler. I looked EVERYWHERE for that thing. I knew it was there, it's been there for 15 years. Finally gave up and went to town and bought a weldable gear hub to make one. Soon as I was done I walked into the shed and there it was, just a bit under the welder, not 2' from the "stuff" pail. lol. Guess I still have a 1" coupler for when I need it.
