They are also a lot lighter and have thinner metal than the 6600 and larger combines so wear through happens a lot sooner. You can start to see that at about 2500 hours on them in soybean country where it takes 4000 hours on the larger models. If it has a straw chopper check the rear end sheet metal for cracking. I have fixed a few where the rear end was breaking off from the weight of the chopper and bouncing over the end rows on corn and soybean fields.
