This is a tough subject for me, and usually, I do not post to lost dog messages. I just get too choked up to type..... I lost my very much loved blue tick Beagle about 9 years ago. You really don't get over it. The grief fades out a bit, but comes back with a vengeance looking at old pictures and going over old cherished memories. And when meeting other folks' dogs. It leaves a hole in your heart a mile wide. It has been said that when you reach the pearly gates, it would be wise not to bring your dog with you. If there is only one spot, you might not get in. In any case, you have my sincerest condolences.
