I was walking behind my dog yesterday when a small car popped over the hill and hit him. I carried him through the hayfield to the car and we got him to the vet. X rays indicated too much injury to try to fix him. We had to let him go. I can't do anything but sit and cry. Wife is the same way, he was a family member. I know many on this website have lost dogs they were close to. What do you do to get over the grief? This is a picture of Duncan.
