I believe the 492 is the big brother to my 472. The wobble box is the mechanism that runs your cutter bar and is down by the knife head. There aren't any chains going to it. I think you are talking about the gear box up on top? I think you're going to have to remove some sheet metal to get to that. There are idler gears along the chains paths too that will spin with no chain on them.
