Eric, the thing is you have to have boos on the ground to stop em. Be able to watch doesn't put boots on the ground, nor can they watch 100% all the time. The size the military would have to be to effectively close the border is astounding and solve one problem, it would definitely cut the unemployment rates! But it would open up another can of worms because I think to man it would require the draft be reinstated. We would have to have a minimum of 50 divisions to close both the northern and southern borders and to really close the Mexican border tight would require close to 200 divisions. That is unless you are going to build a fence with guard towers much like the old iron curtain. Each division has about 28,000 people. That's a lot of jobs.
