I am having issues with the starter on my 806 LP tractor. I had it rebuilt at a reputable shop and put a new soleniod on it. when I hit the starter button the soleniod does not engage the ring gear, the starter just spins. I took the starter off and took it back to the shop, they checked it out and said it works fine. I have a new battery on the tractor. I have to hit the starter button several times before the starter engages. I took off the cover plate, on the bell housing and inspected the ring gear, no noticable wear. I have also by-passed the starter button and the starter does the same thing. Any suggestions
