I needed lube for the gearbox on a Cushman "Minute Miser" scooter. I walked into my nearest John Deere dealer,(West Salem, Wisconsin), and asked for "Corn Head Grease". They had a real nice display rack, which included Corn Head Grease. The parts man was interested in what it was to be used for, and agreed that it was appropriate ! It softens up, in use, and lubricates, but thickens when sitting, and doesn"t leak from warn seals !
