I got the NI 290 out for a test cut Saturday and dropped just a couple acres with it. Honestly the best I've seen it cut in a long time, and it cuts nice.
It rained a little bit every night but not enough to really soak it until this afternoon. Kinda figured it'd get rained on, but took a chance anyway. I laid it out just narrow enough that the tractor didn't run any over on the edges of the windrow, and plan on raking it in another day or 2, and if I have to one more time before trying the baler.
Meanwhile I'm hoping for the shafts to get done to put our Gehl 920 wagon together again so we have 2 wagons to chop with. Probably a full day of reassembly once they're ready....
