I agree to get it checked out by either a chiropractor or doctor. There are good and there are not so good chiropractors. They have limitations to what they can do for you, the same as doctors. They can only help your body heal to the extent it will heal to. Some people I know have went to one once or twice and said it didn't help, but if you haven't been to one in years or never, your body has adjusted its self to compensate for the injury. The majority of the time, muscles tighten up to protect the injured area and the unfortunate side affect is pain. You may have pulled something with twisting, hopefully that is all it is.
