You don't say what kind of grass you are wanting to keep, that makes a difference. I use a product called Pastora in my bermuda grass hay fields. Mixed with 2-4,D it will kill just about everything but bermuda grass but it is very expensive and as far as I know is not available in small acreage amounts. If you know a local farmer you might buy enough mix to do your lawn.
