A sender off a Massey may or may not work. Most older senders have 1/8" male pipe threads but your Deutz is German, meaning metric fittings so I don't know if the Massey sender will screw into the Deutz hole. If it fits, screw the Massey sender in and see what happens. Personally, I would mount a manual gauge in a location where you can see it and forget the light. On one of my tractors I mounted a manual oil gauge in front of the lower right side front cab window, outside the cab in a place where I can glance down and check it once in awhile just to make me feel good. The electric gauge scared the he!! out of me once when it lost connection and went to zero while I was plowing. The pressure was still there but the gauge didn't show it. That's when the manual gauge went in front of the cab window. Jim
