Hi y'all from Tennessee. I'm new here to posting. Recently I took a notion to get my super c out of the fence row. 10 yrs ago my father had it restored and used it for 2hrs and parked it where I cut it out of a few days ago. Actually it had minimal problems to get running. I did however start with the carb. and had it cleaned and rebuilt instead of doing it myself. I should've done it myself, since I am a mechanic by trade. Well I couldn't get it to run at first unless it was full choked so I took the carb apart. Man was I mad. First sight was a missing jet, second sight was how filthy it still was. After a thorough cleaning I found another jet completely stopped up! It still won't rev right. Can I buy just the jet or have to buy the whole kit? At this point I'm really let down. But hey, it did start after the 3rd crank after 9-10 yrs sitting in a fence row.
