A guy near me has a Ford sitting out by the road with a For Sale sign on it, so I stopped and looked. At first I assumed it was an NAA, but he's calling it a 600. The color is a very weathered red (it looks rusty, but it's not rust.) I raised the hood and underneath is still its original red, because a decal of some sort is still intact.
I'm kinda interested in this tractor, but I'm not familiar with it. It appears to be in good basic condition on quick inspection; it appears to have spent a lot of time out in the elements, but not really used that much. Not farmerized. Most of the checkering on the clutch pedal is still visible. Tin is pretty good, rims are good, tires (12.5 x 28 I think) are poor. He's asking $2850, which includes a rotary cutter I don't need.
Anyone give me some insight into this tractor? I'll try to post a photo if I get more serious about it. I have not actually talked to the owner yet.
