Thanks everyone. I spoke to them and let them know everything I found and even some of the feedback here. I tried to break the news to them gently and respectfully. They had paid 6,500 for it years ago and put money into it so would not take less than 5,000, the guy selling had his knee go bad and can't use it anymore but said it was worth it for them to just let it sit rather than let it go for even 3,000, so I graciously passed. Thanks to all of you that replied. Y'all were such great help and anytime I'm considering this kind of buy in the future I'm coming here first.
