the best thing that I have found to keep the deer and the coon out of the sweet corn patch is I go get on of my sons hounds and tie him along side of the patch when the coon and the deer think the corn is ripe to eat. The best part of this is he evens supplies the dog food for me because he knows that I will not buy the high dollar food that he gives his dogs. I do have to give him some sweet corn, but I would of done that any way.
