I had mine all pulled and got dentures at age 63 . Family doctor said to get rid of teeth because poison from bad teeth is known to cause heart problems. They pulled my teeth and put the dentures in the same day ( bottoms first and then tops). You do eat soft foods for a few weeks. I wish I would have done it sooner.My teeth had always hurt and they could never find anything wrong. I had mine done in 2007-2008 and use nothing to hold them in and eat every thing. There are foods that you have to learn how to eat with dentures.
