I had that problem with a Dell desktop about 3 weeks ago. I put it in the car to take to a guy to fix it and it was in the car through sub zero temps about 3 days. He had it a short while and called me and said there was nothing wrong with it. He brought it back and it's worked fine since then. Stick it in the freezer.
