Brett, I retired at 55, pension. When I turn 65 I have no choice, my pension insurance stopped, government put on medicare A. I pay for medicare B and D, which is cheaper than my pension insurance cost me.
I don't remember exact figures, but if you take ss at 62 vs full retirement you get about 70% less. Each year over retirement you get 8% more.
