Chicken wire should keep out rabbits. It won't keep out groundhogs. I'm putting up a 48" fence around part of the garden to keep out the rabbits and ground hogs. I'm going to bury the fence about 8 inches so the ground hogs will have to dig their way in. I use to shoot the ground pigs, but there's too many houses around now. The man that has the fence use to post on here. He told me he took down 2000 feet of fence and I could get all I wanted. He's planning on moving to VA. Hal
