IMOANA: Contraction for ‘I’m going to…..’. Refers to a planned future action, not a destination, as in, “Imoana run into town and get some beer”. SHED, or SHET: To discard, be rid of, as in, “It’s turned off hot; Imoana have to get shed of this jacket”. SET HOSSES: Effect a fortunate pairing, as in, but not exclusive to, a team of horses. It might be said of two people who were unable to get along with each other, “Paw and Uncle Ezra just never were able to set hosses.” ANTIGODLIN: Southern architectural term meaning askew, out of plumb or square, or positioned at a peculiar angle, as in, “That barn of his sets antigodlin to the road”.
