Interesting reading. Now I know a little about that model. When you first showed us your 500 I couldn't figure out why I didn't remember that model. I worked a Co-Op program in the sixties for our local Oliver dealer. There was allot of Oliver in our area at the time. My Dad had a 550 and allot of Oliver eguipment. There were allot of 550's, 1250's, 1350's but I never saw a 500 until you showed yours. I don't think our dealer ever had one. I guess I never knew they hooked up with David Brown.
