I had Verison and when my phone went and they told me the did not support that phone any longer. My contract ran out 3 years ago They said I was due for a upgrade that would put me under for contract 2 years. I went to walmart and checked out Smart talk you can chose either Verison or AT&T. If you dont have any AT&T service in your area you might want to stay with Verison. My bill went from $70 with 600 minutes and 100 texts and A charge for any email or data average bill around $85 now switched to Strait Talk $45 Unlimited Talk, Text and Data is unlimited although it slowes down after 2Gig which I never use. The real good thing is I kept my phone number I just buy the Three month service for $130 and if my phone was good when I switched I could have used it they also have a deal where you can buy 30 days $45,90days $130 180 days $?, 360days $495 which I think i will go with some day no extra charges.
