I started boiling yesterday morning, and the blower for the draft on my evaporator didn't sound right. I peeked under the floor and saw that the the belt was missing. We pulled up the floor and took the belt out, looked at the numbers. the number started with IH***.
I said "That's a generator belt for a Farmall C."
"I know I used something out of stock when I originally installed that blower."
"There should be a new, or at least a good used one hanging in the shop."
There was, we installed it, and kept on boiling, until 11PM.
It just barely froze last night, I went up to check the vacuum pump at 5:30 this morning and the sap was still trickling in. I hope I can keep up with it today.
