We live in a converted round roof barn and I put shingles on the back in 2002, the front was done in the late 90s. So far they have held up well, and we do get 60+ mph wind gusts from time to time. I used 6 nails per shingle. I have wondered about a metal roof but didn't know how well it would work. I would just buy an 8' sheet of galvalume and try it, maybe screw down the top end and walk it down with screws, just to see if it will conform to the bend. Zach
