I am getting in this kind of late.
I do not care how you grow your "own" crops or food. I know successful organic farmers and successful conventional farmers. So it is the management that makes the biggest difference.
What I dislike is those who are organic, labeling all the rest of us in a negative way.
If the organic product is so much more superior then it should sell itself without running the conventional farmers down.
The beef I eat is raised on my farm. It has GMO crops fed to the cattle. The beef tastes good and sells well.
I sell a fair number of freezer beefs. I have several families, that have boughten my beef, that are surprised that my beef is not organic as "organic" is supposed to be the "best". In their eyes the organic movement has tarnished my product.
My beef is a good quality product that is real hard to copy in an organic commercial operation. You can do it with one beef for your own consumption but not with any ways near the lower cost of my beef. The organic will take longer and usually costs more to raise.
So if your organic and like it then GREAT!!! Just quit running my product down to "raise" your own up.
Also just because I use many of the tools available to raise more pounds or bushels on MY farm does not make me some corporate lackey.
With the farm model I am working more bushels and pounds usually means more profit.
