About fifteen years ago some a-hole ran a stop sign in the country. T-boned my brother-in-law (who didn't have a stop sign). BIL was busted up bad, real bad. Among other things, they had to remove his spleen. My SIL had a closed head injury. Her vision is still screwed up because of it. My nephew was maybe 14 at the time. He had serious injuries as well.
I guess if you can live with messing up people's lives go ahead and keep running stop signs.
