Have you had this sprayer for very long? We have an old spray-coupe with VW engine, and with a full load (125 gallons) we never had enough power to take on slopes or soft ground. We abandoned it in favor of a pull-type sprayer. They improved them a lot on later models, but ours just didn"t have the power to do what we wanted. This hasn"t really helped answer your question, but I think they were underpowered to start with.
