Wish it was that way here. Here they issue "collector" plates for classics. Use to be a one time fee and you could drive the vehicle 2500 miles a year. Well people started complaining and the state realized the were loosing revenue. Last I checked you are only supposed to drive them 2 and from events, like shows or parades. Not sure but I was also told that farm plates on a one ton or larger requires a "farm" DOT inspection once every 2 years. Going to have to check on that. Fixing to buy a one tone cub van. Be good for picking up feed and seed and doubles as storage for it. If the difference in cost is enough I'll play the game but if not I'll just put regular plates on it.
