I am sorry but the facts that was said is True. The John Deere 70 diesel first came out in 1954 an ran to 1956. What is most interesting is that I bought as my secound tractor to my current collection. I really did not know what I had bought and till I got to tractor shows. Like always I learned from those at the shows when i asked them about what i had. It is schocking to find out that this tractor is a popular collection peace. I really do not understand why. Is it because it has a pony engine to start? Is it because it holds a record in fuel economy? As I learn on tractors it becomes interesting to me what makes a tractor important for a tractor collector. I do not plan to make money all I plan to do is enjoy the hobbie.
