What I learned a few years back was about most milk you buy in the stores,"ULTRA pasteurized milk". I won't go into what that means and if you're interested, do a google search and see what that means. I always wondered why in Mexico they don't refrigerate most of their milk. It's ultra pasteurized and doesn't need to be refrigerated and has a loooooong shelf life. So I guess that means it's about like water. It's hard to find milk in the stores that isn't ultra pasteurized. So I guess if you buy a jug of ultra pasteurized milk and it sits in a hot car for several hours, it's still ok. Read up on it and see what you find about ultra pasteurized milk, I think you'll be amazed.
