Used the 51 Case VAC to disc where I bottom plowed with the 52 8N several weeks ago. Laid off the rows with the 42 JD H and pushed in 4 rows of sweet corn. Will wait a few weeks to plant green beans. I dug into my potato rows and they are putting out shoots already. Was 77 degrees yesterday and slapped a monster mosquito on my hand and he was already full of MY BLOOD. Also got bit by a fire ant when hooking up the disc. So much for the cold weather killing many insects. The dog had just taken a swim in the pond before this photo. Richard in NW SC
