I'm 54 and hope one day to be able to run a straight furrow with my drafters. The older I get the better a sulky plow looks! I love a walking plow but my ankles are shot and I'm not sure how I'd do on a walking plow.
Horses and mules my let some gas pass on occasion, but diesel and gas fumes don't smell so hot either, and you won't need ear muffs or a cab to protect you from the noise using a horse.
