In North Dakota Slope Electric charges 3.4 cents a kwh for electric heat. You need 2 meters . Otherwise a 13$ base charge and 9.3 cents for the first 500 kwh and 5.5 cents after that. Hard to argue against electric heat. Except you need a backup heat source, because frankley they are not all that reliable, espically when needed most. In northern California Pacific Gas and Electric is 13.230 kwh for tier 1 use and 15.04 for tier 2. I don't know the difference.
