I have never owned a fast car: I guess I'm just too practical. First car was a '64 Chevelle my big brother got for $100 & sold it to me. It had no drive train, but I took care of that with a nice little v-8 out of a wrecked '68 Impala.
After owning the Chevelle for about a year I sold it for $400, (wish I still had it).
Soon after selling the Chevelle sweet '68 Camaro coupe came up for sale for $450. It was a factory stock 327. I snatched it up, did a bit of detailing to it & put it in storage. I vowed I would never sell the car & 35+ years later it's still in my heated shop.
I don't sell stuff. If I wanted to get rid of something I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
