Fastest car was a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 4 speed 4:11 rear end 406 CI 405 HP tri power that broke a rod just cruising along. Bought a brand new 427 cu in medium riser short block and the car was much faster! Used to love to come up to GTOs and 442s and blow their doors off on Woodward ave and Telegraph. . The Ford was black and did not look fast at all. It required new plugs, points and a hot valve adjustment every 1500 miles. First date was in a 1953 Chevrolet dark green pickup.
