From esperience they are good tractors. My Dads first cousin sold AC, New Holland and some short line equipment. He took on DB in 1968. My family traded an Oliver 88 for a DB 990 with Kelley loader, an Oliver 77 for a DB 1200 and an Oliver S55 for a DB 770 with Kelley loader. These tractors were tough, easy on fuel and comfortable. If this 1200 is in good shape I think it is a good deal. Green paint that age and hp will cost you more than double.
