I used to run into Michigan a lot delivering to walmart stores. Always had to laugh at the rookies trying to get their axle weights figured out and kingpin setting right before they went into Michigan. That scale on I69 had been pulled up and the hole filled with concrete for years. The runs I liked best were to Muskegon and Ludington. Got to Alpena once, but that was too long a haul back south, never got to Traverse City or Sault St Marie.
