Jon, I'm sure glad you didn't post that in the morning
before people had their coffee! LOL
You going to make it to Oakley again this year?

You kept it, so you should get the credit!
I'll bring the camera again this year.
We haven't broke it yet, even with me in the picture! LOL
By then we'll probably be complaining about the heat. (I hope)

I"m only a few miles east of you - Edmore - almost due north of rrlund. How come our paths haven"t crossed?

I suppose that's because I've only been around the neighborhood for about 5 years. I'm actually near townline lake, so I might be even closer to ya.

About 6 mi. east of Mt. Pleasant (center of state) Twas -17° here last nite. Heard "expansion bangs" I've never heard before.

Trucker:
I had to look that up i have never seen homes in the cloverleaf are you the first on left on Burton?
Has the traffic noise been a issue or it just melds in as background sounds?
Sean

I'm in Alpena right now and rehabbing a foreclosed house I bought in Maple Ridge Township. I also have a house, shop, woods and a few tractors in Presque Isle County in a place called "Hawks." Technically, Hawks is within Bismarck Township.

Graduated from NMU in 1970, commuting from Munising every day.We now live in Virginia. I have lived in 10 states in my 71 years, the UP is the most beautiful and unspoiled places in this great country.

I used to run into Michigan a lot delivering to walmart stores. Always had to laugh at the rookies trying to get their axle weights figured out and kingpin setting right before they went into Michigan. That scale on I69 had been pulled up and the hole filled with concrete for years.
The runs I liked best were to Muskegon and Ludington. Got to Alpena once, but that was too long a haul back south, never got to Traverse City or Sault St Marie.

Just off the clover leaf a road . Lets just say after a while you don't hear it except for the semi OH SH!@ jake brake when they realize the signs mean 25mph for the corners.

Mike, so nice to see you posting.
I hope things are going well for you and your wife.
Shoot me an email if you get a chance.
